The St. Louis Cardinals purchased the contract of right-hander Mike MacDougal from Triple-A Memphis before their game Wednesday night against the New York Mets. MacDougal was 2-0 with one save and a 3.86 ERA in eight games for Memphis, after starting the season in the Washington Nationals system
